Pierre provides AI styling experiences for brands and boutiques (our business customers) and, in kiosk and personal settings, for the shoppers they serve. This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over your data. Where a business uses Pierre to style its own customers, that business is the data controller and Pierre acts as its processor; for our own marketing site and accounts, Pierre is the controller.

1. What we collect

We collect only what the styling experience needs to work:

  • Live selfies and uploaded photos. Images captured at a kiosk camera or uploaded from your phone so the AI can generate a styled look.
  • AI-generated face-renders. The styled avatar images the model produces from your selfie.
  • Style attributes. Characteristics used to compose an outfit — such as skin tone, build, and sizing preferences — that you provide or that are inferred to improve fit and colour recommendations.
  • Walk-in emails and leads. Contact details you share with a boutique (for example, to receive a lookbook or be contacted about a product), and the associated interaction history.
  • Minor consent records. Where a parent or guardian consents on behalf of a minor, we log that consent together with the timestamp, IP address, and user-agent used to give it, as an audit record.
  • Account and technical data. Business account details, plus standard log and device information needed to operate and secure the service.

2. Lawful basis and consent

We process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (delivering the styling experience and your account), our legitimate interests (securing the service, preventing abuse, and measuring performance), and consent.

Selfies and AI-generated face-renders can identify you and are treated as biometric-adjacent facial data. We collect and process this facial data only with your explicit, freely given consent, captured before the camera is used or an image is uploaded. You can decline, and you may withdraw consent at any time (see Section 6); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.

3. Retention and deletion

We keep facial data for the shortest time that makes the experience usable:

  • Kiosk renders are swept and permanently deleted within 48 hours of creation.
  • Phone-upload selfies are deleted at the end of your styling session; uploads that are started but abandoned are reaped automatically shortly afterwards.
  • Consumer vault content (saved looks and wardrobe items in a personal account) is retained only for as long as your account is active or within the retention window you set, and is removed on account closure.
  • Leads and consent logs are kept for as long as needed to serve the relationship and to meet legal or audit obligations, then deleted.

You can ask us to erase your personal data at any time and we will do so unless we are legally required to retain it.

4. Third-party processors

We share data with a small number of vetted processors strictly to run the service. They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms:

  • AI model providers. Images and text are processed through the Lovable AI Gateway using Google Gemini models to generate renders (image) and stylist notes (text).
  • Transactional email sender. Used to deliver lookbooks, confirmations, and service messages you request.
  • Hosting and storage. Supabase (database, auth, and storage) and Cloudflare (application hosting and edge delivery).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your selfies or renders to train third-party models.

5. Minors' data and guardian consent

Pierre is all-ages, but a minor may only be styled with the verifiable consent of a parent or guardian. When consent is given, we record it — including the timestamp, IP address, and user-agent — as described in Section 1. We limit the data collected about a minor to what the styling flow requires, and we apply the same short retention windows for facial data.

A parent or guardian can revoke consent and request deletion at any time by contacting us at privacy@pierre.style. On revocation we delete the associated selfies, renders, and consent record, subject only to any legally required audit retention.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Delete your data (erasure), including selfies, renders, and consent records.
  • Port your data — receive a copy in a portable, machine-readable format.
  • Correct inaccurate data and withdraw consent for facial-data processing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, or if you have questions about this policy, contact our privacy team at privacy@pierre.style. Where a boutique is the controller of your data, we will help route your request to them.
